From May 18th through September 6th, the 2010 summer events in Grapevine, TX will be the place to be for spectacular fun for the whole family. There will be fireworks every Friday night at 9:30 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The fireworks can be seen at any of the parks in Lake Grapevine.

Staycation in Grapevine, TX will feature Summer Nights at the Gazebo. This will be in the historic downtown area and will include the following dates:

  • Friday, July 16th will be the 4th annual talent search and everyone can join in this fun and entertaining night that will include music and art.

  • Friday, July 23rd is the Art in the Park night and will feature the artists from the local talent.

  • Friday, July 30th is time for everyone to don their cowboy boots and enjoy the Round-Up, a Western night. This event is sponsored by Bermuda Gold & Silver and Bank of the West.

Once again the Grapevine Market will be part of the summer events in Grapevine, TX. The open-air farmer’s market opened April 10th and is open every Thursday and Saturday until October 16th in the historic district of downtown. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and there is an array of fresh vegetables and fruits as well as antiques, home décor, hand-made jewelery and many other items.

Have a Staycation in Grapevine, TX! HorseRide the train starting Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day and have a blast as the desperados wait to rob the train. The trip from Grapevine to Fort Worth is a great trip for a train robbery and you can be a part of the excitement of the staged robberies.

The resort has 4 ½ acres of indoor gardens that will be the scene of many different forms of fun and entertainment. From face painting to caricature artists and musicians, there will be something for everyone. Outdoors there will be fireworks, Sunday brunch and drive in movies poolside.

Staycation in Grapevine, TX will include many activities on the water such as wind surfing, water skiing and boating. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the wilderness trails. There are camping facilities and fishing is always a nice pastime.
